It was a saturday evening back in January of 2005. Erin and I were both sitting in front of our computers watching the dismal Chargers lose yet another first-round playoff game. That was the icebreaker and from there we got to talking and laughing and hit it off from the get go. After an hour or so of chatting, we decided that we should meet up and go "midnight bowling" up in Oceanside. Ever since that night we have been inseperable, first as friends, now as soon-to-be-husband-and-wife. We got engaged on Erin's birthday at the airport in Tennessee, it was a complete surprise and she made me the happiest man on earth by saying YES! After the wedding and honeymoon , ultimately we plan on returning to Tennessee and calling it home, we fell in love with the people and atmosphere while visiting
Peter and I were planning to have our wedding in San Diego but after much thought and DRAMA, we decided to make it fun for everyone (especially the bride) and get married in Las Vegas. The Luxor hotel has a beautiful wedding chapel. This full service chapel offers music, photography, videography, and an artful arrangement of flowers to surround us and our guests along with unique details to personalize this event for all. We can't wait for the big day.
After the ceremony we would like to have dinner with all of our guests. Further details will be provided. We have not yet finished working out the details for a resturant or the number of guests who have R.S.V.P. for the wedding.
Las Vegas has many beautiful hotels to chose from up and down the strip. Old Las Vegas has wonderful casinos and on Freemont Street your gauranteed to have fun with the entire family. All of our guests will be responsible for their our travel arrangements. Peter and I will be arriving in Las Vegas September 22nd and leaving September 25th for our honeymoon in Cancun, Mexico. We wish everyone a safe trip and we will see you in Vegas.
